CAREGIVERS COURSE

Our caregiver programme exposes the individual to who a caregiver is, the roles and resonsibilities of a carer which includes

1. Working in a person-centred way to ensure that every resident or client is cared for compassionately and empathetically.
2. Supporting individuals with personal hygiene and dressing
3. Medication reminders
4. Reporting all health and safety hazards
5. Understanding and following a care plan
6. Maintaining confidentiality
7. Following policies and procedures
8. Keeping the resident company
9. Assisting residents to eat and drink

CARE ASSISTANTS COURSE

Our care assistants courses are divided into modules which focuses on dementia care, care of persons with disabilities,care of children,safeguardinng, assisting nurses in various health care settings and all the fundamentals of care.

DURATION: Clasroom lectures hold three days in a week for two hours each day, for a total of two months. Online lectures are also available for persons who are far away and cannot attend phyical classes. The online lectures are self-paced which means that the duration depends on whenever you finish the classes

CPR AND FIRST AID COURSE

Participants are thought how to respond in emmergency situations as well as how to administer first aid whenever someone is injured• It also includes first aid skills for emmergency situations such as asthma attack, fainting, cardiac arrest, snake bite, bee sting, electrocution, burns, sprains,strains,fractures etc • Know how to report and record details of an emergency event • Understand when to apply the local policy on 'Do Not Attempt CPR'
